PHILOSOPHY
“Comfortable working with rather than for young people,” could describe the philosophy of ACCYP. Our view is that we work with all young people by building relationship, we have an understanding that a way to a young person’s heart is not through events, programs or activities but through the relationship that is built during those events, programs and activities. The aim of ACCYP is to see all Assynt’s young people develop physically, mentally, spiritually, and emotionally. ACCYP is a lifeline for the local youth, providing regular, real support in numerous areas of life so that they can look forward to their future with hope and passion.

You will develop contacts with unchurched families and individuals within the area, and explore local community needs and identify areas for the local Christians to minister. Facilitating greater community engagement, you will be a resource for the development of mission. You will develop sustainable initiatives and projects which are owned by the local Christians, along with relevant and fresh expressions of Christian community, accessible to children, young people and families of the community.
